ABOUT TEACHER JOYCE
Joyce was born and raised in the United States. More specifically, she was born in Seattle, Washington but she grew up in sunny San Diego, California. She loves to travel, learn about other cultures and loves to see students grow in their English language skills. She has lived in the Middle East and in East Asia so she knows what it's like to try to learn a new language and culture. She has taught English as a Second Language for 20 years. She got a Master's in Teaching from Concordia University in Portland, Oregon. She has had the pleasure of teaching students from all around the world at many different language ability levels. She feels it's a special gift to learn about the world through her students' eyes.
